We were enjoying our stay in Pt Vila and in the lovely garden room at Vila Chaumieres when my wife had the misfortune to slip while walking in town and to break her arm. “Lovely location”

Stayed in a room with a delightful balcony overlooking the lagoon. We went for complete rest and relaxation so armed with a few books we were more than happy to sit and look out at the water. Richard and Ursula were the perfect hosts, being our first time to Vanuatu we we're extremely happy to have come across such a lovely place. They were more than happy to recommend and organise the best attractions Vanuatu had to offer.
The staff were very friendly nothing was a problem for any of them ( especially a young lady Pauline ).
The food was delicious and was always presented lovely, ( the crab is as tasty as they say) the complimentry breakfast was an added bonus.
Our room was spacious and very private, and our bed very comfortable.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, gorgeous food, hassle free accommodation then look no further Vila Chaumieres is the place to stay.

“Perfect for a quiet getaway”

It's a very nice, small, quiet hotel not too far away from town. The room we stayed in overlooked the lagoon and was cosy. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The best part was their food! The seafood platter is a must-try!

Quiet and Peaceful, Vanuatu Resort

“Quiet peaceful getaway”

The best room is number 5 which is the lagoon view room on top of reception. We stayed in number 6 which is the room next door with view of lagoon but not as panoramic as room 5 but still a good view. The owners were away and unfortunately the wifi played up during our stay despite the site manager doing her best to fix it. Made it a bit inconvenient as we were relying on trip advisor to plan our days. The breakfast was great and the fruit varied everyday. The hot breakfasts were great especially the omelette. The pool was a great refresher after being out for the day. The restaurant is picturesque and we enjoyed one meal there. We like to try somewhere different every night. The only problem I had with the room was the pillow, it was hard and flat. I missed my soft latex pillow. Could probably write more but have to go. If something else comes to mind will write another review.
